Qualcomm launched Snapdragon 660

Specifications of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 have been revealed on a Chinese website. The Snapdragon 635 is reported to be an update to the Snapdragon 630.   The new Snapdragon SoC, according to a reportby Androidholic, is expected to get into production by the second quarter of 2018. It will be manufactured with 14 nm process technology and will feature an octa-core Kryo processor. The GPU on the chip is also expected to be 20 percent more powerful as compared to the Snapdragon 625 SoC. The clock speed of the processor has not been revealed yet.   Qualcomm is also expected to bring a Plus variant of the Snapdragon 635 with both the GPU and processor running at a higher speed as compared to the Snapdragon 635.  

  Qualcomm launched Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 in 2017. Snapdragon 660 comes with Kryo CPU and Adreno 512 GPU. These two 600 series SOC's brought Quick Charge 4 that offers 5 hours of battery life from a 5 minute charge. These SoC's use 14 nm FinFET process node.   The Snapdragon 630 packs Adreno 508 GPU and comes with X12 LTE modem that provides a download speed of up to 600 Mbps. It also supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB 3.1.   The Snapdragon 630 is capable of recording 4K Ultra HD videos at 30 fps and 1080p @120 fps. It is clocked at 2.2 GHz with a 64-bit architecture.
